Musical Theater Workshop: Classic Meets Contemporary!

Calling all performers, designers, and theater lovers! Join us for a week long journey through the magic of Broadway, exploring both the spotlight and the behind-the-scenes magic that brings a show to life. Featuring scenes, songs, and design inspiration from: Oklahoma, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Six, and Wicked

What to Expect:

• Acting, vocal, and choreography sessions

• Hands-on workshops in lighting, set design, and costume creation

• Daily rotations between performance and technical theater elements

• Opportunities to explore every aspect of what makes musical theater so powerful

Dates: August 11-15 / Grades: 1st-12th

Time: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm. Bring a packed lunch!

Location: Struthers Library Theatre

Open to students of all experience levels!  Join us for a week of learning, creativity, and fun as we explore the full world of musical theater together.
